The All Knowing Two Year Old

It appears that Vance has decided that even though I am nearing 30, and have been around much longer then he has, that I don't know what the crap I'm talking about.  Here is an example.  We were reading a book today, and there was a picture of a dog in a helicopter(good old Go Dog, Go).   Vance points to the helicopter and says:
Vance- An airplane.
Me- No, that's a helicopter.
Vance- No, it's an airplane.
Me-  No, it's a helicopter.
Vance-  No, it's not a helicopter, it's an AIRPLANE!
And it goes on and on and on.  We have had this disagreement many times over many different things.  Chalk versus a crayon(it was chalk!), a screwdriver versus a sword(leave it to boys to turn everything into a weapon).   He had me laughing so hard I cried over one of our little arguments  the other night.

He's so sweet when he's sleeping!!
Even though he has a perfectly good bed, half the time when I get him up from his nap, he is on the floor, and perfectly content to be there.  I love this boy!

Truman officially naps on the floor as well. He's much more agreeable to "rest time" if I make a little bed on the floor for him. Then he usually plays a little and then snuggles down.

They are so sweet when they're sleeping! =)

He looks so cute sleeping like that. You'd never know he was the one arguing with you all day over random items. BTW hasn't anyone ever told you not to fight with a 2 year old?

hahahaha! Burke and I still have similar arguments. Apparently, the letters of the alphabet and what sounds they make are not my area of expertise...
