The Upside Down Show

Mason and Miles have a new obsession in life. It is the Upside Down Show. This is a new show on the Noggin channel. They wait on pins and needles all day long so they can watch it. It doesn't come on until 4:30. If they are not watching, they are usually pretending to be Shane and David, the main characters of the Upside Down Show. Mason is David. Miles is Shane, but you can't call him Shane, because he is still Link(see previous blog entry). He gets very upset at Mason when Mason calls him Shane. They spend a lot of time doing "action fingers," which is a segment done on the Upside Down Show. They pretend that their fingers are superheros. The kids watching the show have an imaginary remote control, so Shane and David ask if they can press the rewind button, the play button, instant replay button, or the upside down button, and more. Mason is always asking me to press some button on my remote!
In other news... Mason has returned to school this week. Now, as much as I love Mason, I still love to send him off to school and have a bit of a break. Summer and winter break seemed like an eternity! I already long for the day that I put Vance on the school bus. Although, in reality, I'll probably cry like a baby!
Jordan was called to be 2nd counselor in the bishopric, so he is very busy these days. He has been high in demand. I think he is doing a great job. It has been an interesting challenge taking care of the kids at church. Miles is determined to go sit with his dad on the stand. Miles and I end up spending a lot of time in the hall while someone else sits with Mason and Vance. I'm afraid of what's going to happen when Vance is a few months older!
